Harding Park ADA Improvements

Completed and Opened to the public on December 2024!

Scope of Work

This is an ADA barrier removal project. It will implement the corrective measures identified as part of a settlement agreement. It is performed as part of Rec and Park’s ADA Capital Improvement Program, in collaboration with Mayor’s Office on Disability (MOD).

The scope of the project includes bringing existing parking areas to compliance; creating new crosswalks, curb ramps, and loading zone; making a new extended accessible pathway across the parking lot; and repaving existing concrete pathways.

Funding

Funding for this project comes from Rec and Park’s ADA General Fund and municipal debt obligations.
