MLK Pool - Annual Maintenance and Baby Pool Replaster 2/10/26-2/23/26

Coffman Pool - Pool Bottom Replaster 2/10- mid-April (TENTATIVE)

Sava Pool - West Wall Rebuild and Pool Replaster- Reopening mid to late May

Martin Luther King Jr. Pool will close on February 10 for its annual maintenance. During this time, we will begin a replastering project on the facility’s smaller wading pool. We’re excited to share that the contractor will continue work after the facility reopens on Tuesday, February 24, without requiring an additional closure of the larger pool.

Coffman Pool will also close for a replastering project on Tuesday, February 10. Work is expected to be completed by mid-April.

Nearby pools available during these closures include Garfield Pool (1271 Treat Avenue) and Balboa Pool (51 Havelock Street). With Sava Pool also closed for replastering and wall repair until spring, visit the link below to view a full list of our pools.

This test is for all aquatic based camps, classes, and aquatic programs—for both kids and adults. It can be taken at any U.S. pool with certified lifeguards or instructors. The best time to take the test is during open recreation swim hours.

To purchase a swim pass or register for a class, visit sfrecpark.org/register . Drop-in visitors can pay the entry fee with exact cash or credit card at the pool entrance. To purchase a pass with a check, walk-in to McLaren Lodge Annex M-F from 9am-4pm.
